Given that commemorative days drive an immense amount of interest on Twitter, we thought we would compile a list of them - which, we must say, is by no means comprehensive!

But they go some way to showing the array of different commemorations, which can play a big role in the way Committees spread the word about their work - evidence by the way that the Joint Committee on Human Rights capitalised on #HumanRightsDay.
